Motherhood reveals the compassion, patience, protection, and intercessory heart of God. Isaiah 66:13 compares God’s comfort to the comfort of a mother, while Proverbs 31 celebrates the woman whose family rises and calls her blessed. Pastor Woodson teaches that mothers possess a special grace to pray over their children, confront spiritual opposition, and “rip up” the enemy’s plans through faith-filled intercession. Like Hannah in 1 Samuel 1, a praying woman may begin in grief but end in testimony when she remains faithful, humble, and honorable. Hannah’s response to Eli shows that honor does not require pretending a leader is always correct; it means refusing to let another person’s mistake corrupt your own spirit.
