Only Speak the Blessings

Men are called to be spiritual gatekeepers who speak life into their families, workplaces, and communities. Proverbs 16:32 teaches that ruling the spirit is greater than conquering a city; therefore, controlling your words is an act of strength. As Joshua was told to meditate on the Word day and night so his way would be prosperous (Joshua 1:8), so must men build their world through continual confession of God’s truth. Speak protection, order, discipline, and blessing. Stand firm and declare like David, “My God is my fortress” (Psalm 18:2)—and watch mountains move.
